VER ehf is a importing company that is specialised in servicing the fishing induestry. The company was established in 1982 in Akranes.

The objective of the company  is to offer quality goods and support innovation that will increase safety and prosperity in the fishing industry.

Verslunarþjónustan ehf has the stocks at the harbour site in Akranes.

VER, the meaning of it in Icelandic is sea and/or fishing place. In the old days it was called to go to “ver” when farmers left their farms to go to the coast to fish, during the last months of the winter. The logo is also used segmental and then in the context of trade. Our logo therefore portrays the purpose of the company perfectly as it’s specialty is trading with goods for the fishing industry.

VER ehf has been operating since 1982. We have business relation in many countries such as: Holland, Spain, Portugal, Scotland, USA and Norway.  The company sells it’s goods to various countries. The main objective of the company is reliability, honesty and service. With modern communication then it is easy to trade worldwide.
